ReplyDeleteI wish I could have Patrick's optimism. Actually... I am glad I don't have it. I suffer of enough disappointment as it is.
ReplyDeleteThe Mavs need to do something at SF to make up for the loss of Caron Butler. Shawn Marion is not the answer. Matrix has a role already. Even with Roddy back and making up for the scoring lost in Caron, we'll need a 6'7" - 6'9" body for matchup purposes.
Also, Roddy was supposed to be the final piece that would put us over the top and into solid title contention. Even getting him back, we are still short one Tough Juice from where we expected to be.
By the way, Marion is much more effective as an undersized power forward than he is playing SF.
