Of course I am posting this many weeks after the fact, but I want to get these thoughts in (I'll try the best to only used the knowledge I had at the time the podcast went online):
1) I think that paying attention to the nuances and intricacies of the game improves the fan experience. There comes a point when one needs to get more out of following a team and a league than the mere experience of a particular game. I do care if we can't hold on to a lead, or if we only beat teams by 2 points that we should comfortably beat by double digits. 2) I too have concerns that the Mavs may end up where they have been in the past (great regular season team, not so much in the playoffs). However, I think Chandler changes the landscape enough that the team is better built for the playoffs.
